Founded in 2006 by Kevin Carmody and Andy Groarke, Carmody Groarke has developed a reputation for working internationally on a wide range of arts, cultural, heritage, and residential projects. This instalment offers an overview of the London-based practices work from 2009 until the present, and includes an interview with the architects and David Chipperfield. More than 20 projects of all scales are profiled, from the Regents Place Pavilion, West Sussex Gallery, and an artist studio in Hoxton, to an extension at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester and the British Film Institute Southbank. An essay by architecture critic Ellis Woodman rounds out the issue.
