Ethio Jazz

Mulatu Astatké is at the same time the godfather and the standard bearer of the Ethiopian music scene. His name was imperative, following the example of Fela Kuti, Salif Keita, Ali Farka Touré... at the very top of the bill of the African musicians. This talented vibraphone player is also recognized for the quality of its compositions which marry jazz and traditional Ethiopian music.

A record of Ethio groove in which we find some US soul, jazz, Latin accents and especially oriental rhythms.
