Ronnie Laws, American jazz, blues and funk saxophonist, an artist who helped invent the jazz fusion sounds of the 70's and 80's, brings his very best soulful fusion to 'Every Generation'. His 5th studio album, Laws packed 'Every Generation' with hits like the jazz-funk groove, 'Young Child', the phreaky 'O.T.B.A. Law' and the playful jazz of, 'Never Get Back To Houston'. While in the vein of his 70's work, 'Every Generation' features a more electronic sound, but maintains the warmth and depth he is so well known for, a trademark for the Blue Note sound of the time. 'Every Generation' mostly features Laws on the saxophone, but there are a scattering of vocal tracks here, and great material for any funk, pop, or jazz fan.
