About the Music Spain's most acclaimed composer, Alberto Iglesias has a solid classical training that includes piano, guitar and composition as well as electronic music studies. His considerable experience in film composition began in 1980. He has written the music for many Spanish films, mostly from Pedro Almod³var ("All About My Mother," "Talk to Her," "Volver") and Julio Medem ("Vacas," "Los amantes del Circulo Polar," "Sex and Lucia"). Iglesias has been nominated for three Academy Awards for his work in the films "The Constant Gardener," "The Kite Runner" and "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy." His other film credits include soundtracks for Steven Soderbergh's "Che" and Hossein Amini's "The Two Faces of January."
