Experiments in General Chemistry Lab Manual contains 41 traditional experiments sequenced to follow the text. At least one experiment is provided for each chapter of the text. Each experiment is carefully organized with introductory remarks, a discussion of the experiment's purpose, a pre-laboratory assignment, step-by-step procedures, and a convenient section for results and questions. New to this edition are ten Inquiries with Limited Guidance. Following the conceptual focus of the text, these new experiments allow students to work at their own intellectual levels, design their own experiments, and analyze the data from those experiments without help or prompting from the manual. These are not tied directly to any chapter of the text, and can be integrated at the instructor's discretion throughout the course.
