2007 expanded edition of this 1990 album from Mark E. Smith and Co. Featuring a bonus CD that contains 14 bonus tracks including B-sides, rarities, remixes and four Peel Sessions. Extricate marked a surprising moment in the Fall's lengthy history - they had signed to a major record label. Despite taking the corporate dollar, they remained true to their own vision and passion to produce a crunching, commercial album that was their most focused since the seminal This Nation's Saving Grace. Extricate was produced by Coldcut, Adrian Sherwood and Craig Leon, is home to 'Bill Is Dead' and the singles 'Telephone Thing' (a cover of a Coldcut song originally sung by Lisa Stansfield) and 'Popcorn Double Feature'.
