BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Febco Bronze Pressure Vacuum Breaker Backflow Preventer Assembly provides the ultimate mechanical protection of potable water against cross-connection contamination hazards. It is used to protect against health hazard and non-hazard back-siphonage of toxic or non-toxic liquids and meets the specifications of the USC FCCCHR Manual.
COMPREHENSIVE FEATURES: Designed for minimum head loss, this bronze assembly is equipped with a plastic bonnet to protect from freeze damage, a spring-loaded check valve, air relief valve with opening port, two resilient seated shutoffs and test cocks, and NPT end connections. It has a maximum working pressure of 150 psi (10.3 bar) and a temperature range of 32° F to 140° F (0° C to 60° C).
FREEZE SENSOR: Includes a freeze sensor compatible with SentryPlus Alert technology, signaling facility personnel when temperatures near and reach freezing point. An optional freeze sensor connection kit is available to activate a monitoring system for low and freezing temperatures.
