- BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Febco Lead-Free Bronze Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly with Flood Sensor provides the ultimate mechanical protection against cross-connection contamination hazards. It is specifically designed to prevent the reverse flow of high-hazard (toxic) fluids found in the water from contaminating potable water systems due to back-siphonage.
- COMPREHENSIVE FEATURES: This assembly is constructed with a highly durable lead-free bronze body, ensuring long-lasting performance and compliance with industry standards. It is equipped with threaded quarter-turn ball valve shutoffs, top-mounted test cocks, stainless steel spring-loaded check valves, and a pressure differential relief valve. It contains a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
