The Supercut tool housing is completely decoupled from the motor through the utilization of four flexible dampening elements. The Supercut 500QSL makes the work noticeably faster, more manageable and safer with less fatigue. FEIN has refined the Supercut 500QSL even further by incorporating the StarLock mounting system. The FEIN StarLock mounting system is a pin-less, tool-free quick change system. It allows the effortless change of accessories in less than three seconds. The unique geometry of the tool head in combination with StarLock accessories guarantees a solid connection and the optimum power transmission to the work piece. The accessories simply snap into the tool head for a secure and accurately seated connection. The accessories are also easily released by lifting the lever on the tool head. The Supercut 500QSL is fitted with Starlock Max, an upgraded version of the Starlock mounting system. The mount accepts both Starlock and StarlockPlus Accessories with the option to also use Starlock Max accessories. Starlock Max accessories are designed for specific applications and continuous use that would be too robust or aggressive for lesser powered machines.
