If the surface is wood or metal it may need some light sanding to prepare it for the best adhesive capability. Be sure to gently wipe off any dust with a damp cloth and allow the surface to dry before applying the adhesive pad. TIP: many drawers and cabinet doors may need cleaned on the most touched areas - oil from the hands due to repeated use can prevent proper adhesion of the bumper pads.
