The AM3 has utilized the newly launched amp OPA1622 from Ti, which is exclusively aiming for audio products. The OPA1622 is the newest addition to the Ti Burr-Brown Audio product line, and also an upgrade to the widely used OPA1612. In order to achieve full-channel balanced output, there are six OPA1622 chips installed, which enables the module to support both 2.5mm TRRS balanced output and 3.5mm single-end output with an ultralow THD+N of -119.2dB (0.000018%), while driving a 32 ohm load at 10-mW output power, 12 times better than the most similar competitive product. Also it can achieve a maximum output power of 150mW before the clipping occurs, thereby provides an interference-free signal channel to the X7 and raises the audio quality to a whole new level. Simple To Install A small screw driver is included in the package for working with the two T5 screws holding the amplifier module in place. With the two screws removed, the amplifier module can be unplugged with a firm pull. Installation is the reverse of removal.
