Finder of Lost Loves is the 1985 album by legendary soul singer Dionne Warwick, her seven for the Arista label. The album was recorded during 1984 and was released the following year.
Tracks from the album were produced by such heavyweight legends such as Barry Manilow, Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager and Stevie Wonder.
Bert Bacharach wrote the title track which became a gentle, sleek love song and the two Stevie Wonder duets from Woman In Red are included, with Richard Landis' produced Mutt Lange's sappy "Without Your Love"; otherwise Manilow's back in the producer's chair.
Finder of Lost Loves sees Warwick lets loose on one more Richard Kerr dramatic ballad, "You Make Me Want To Love Again," but otherwise she's mostly content to take it easy. The album also includes top session musicians, Greg Phillinganes, Robbie Buchanan, Nathan East, Ed Greene, and Paul Jackson Jr.
Dionne recorded a lot of great songs with Arista and this album is a perfect example of true musicianship. Every Dionne Warwick fan should have this album in their collection. So what are you waiting for??
