Duncan Falconer was born in London and raised in an orphanage until he was ten. At 18, with the UK in an economic slump, Falconer joined the Royal Marines to get away from the city for a few years. But a series of
unusual events saw him attend SBS selection at 19, which he passed to become the youngest man in his day to join British Special Forces. This unusual opportunity was never to be repeated. The SBS, faced with a
neophyte in their employ, immediately sent him away to gain experience with the military elite. It was to be the beginning of a great adventure spanning four decades that saw him involved in practically every major conflict on this earth in one form or another. This book is about Falconerâ€™s formative years working with the SBS, SAS and British military Intelligence.
