UK act Passenger team up with the cream of Australian music on the new album, 'Flight of the Crow'. The brainchild of frontman and core member, Mike Rosenberg, the album came together as the 26-year-old singer/songwriter journeyed across Australia. To celebrate, he will be touring Australia throughout October with Sydney's own Boy & Bear (tour dates below!) Featuring collaborations with Lior, Josh Pyke, Katie Noonan, Boy & Bear, Kate Miller Heidke, Simon J Berckelman (Philadelphia Grand Jury), Brian Campeau and Elana Stone, Matt Corby and Jess Chalker, the album was entirely self-funded by the busking income Rosenberg earned performing on Australia's streets. 'Flight of the Crow' is the remarkable result of Rosenberg's intrepid journey, and the friendships struck along the way. The album was recorded in Sydney's famous BJB Studios. Co-produced by Berkfinger (aka. Simon J. Berckelman of Philadelphia Grand Jury), it came into being over February and March of 2010 - although almost all of the core elements (bass drums, guitars and lead vox) were recorded in one single day!
