Everybody loves a good story, no matter what their age. That is one reason Jesus liked to use stories to illustrate the points he made. In Flowers in the Wind 4, Father Bob provides 8-minute story-based homilies for each Sunday of the church year. In this volume, he focuses on Cycle A, a cycle focusing mostly on the Gospel of Matthew. Each homily takes one or more of the Scripture passages of the day and tells a story illustrating the point, or moral, of the Scripture. Then Father Bob answers the most important question every homilist must answer: "So what?! What does this have to do with me today?" Some stories are old, and some are modern.
