Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the British Boogie/Rock 'n' Roll band. Fool For The City (1975) was Foghat's breakthrough album, earning a double platinum certification for over two million copies sold. 'Slow Ride' became the band's signature tune. Night Shift (1976) was produced by Dan Hartman (before he became the king of disco-pop), a member of Edgar Winter's White Trash, whose output bore some similarity to Foghat's albums. The album features 'Drivin' Wheel' as well as Foghat's take on the Al Green classic, 'Take Me To The River'. The bonus track is an album outtake, not issued until 1996. The package contains all the lyrics (for the first time) and brand new extensive notes by Bearsville Records expert Paul Myers. Edsel.
