In 2010, the four original members of The O.C. Supertones (Mojo, Jason, Tony & Chief) reunited for a short summer tour with no intentions of doing anything else. However, there was such a great response, and so many people were being encouraged and ministered to that the band decided to keep the door open and play a few more shows. One thing led to another, and The O.C. Supertones are now releasing a new album! For The Glory features fresh new material complete with clever lyrics and catchy hooks. Fans will be stoked to know that the band will continue playing shows in support of the new record! We talked about what kind of album we wanted to make recalls Moj, Words like fun, exciting, energetic, life-changing, and yes, ska. We make no apologies. We are going back to the roots of what started this band. We're not trying to be arty, emo, or sophisticated on any level... we want to make the greatest ska album of all time (at least we'll give it a shot)! But most of all, we wanted to put out a distinctively Christ-centered album. Like every show, every album, and everything we've ever done, the Supertones' mission statement is to reach the lost with the hope of Christ, and to build up and encourage the Church. And that is exactly what we intend to set out to do. We believe that this album will be the most encouraging in your relationship with God that we've ever done.
