This quality Adze is drop forged from high grade carbon steel.Hardened and tempered for maximum strength. Ground cutting edge with proper sharpness.Paint coated in black color for rust prevention. Blade is 3-1/4" wide by 5" long, weighing approx 14oz. Perfect for close weeding, seeding and prepare bedding for small garden. Its hardened and sharpened blade cuts tree roots and digs hard soils. The 45 degree curved blade is ideally designed for working ergonomics. This is also a handy tool for prospector and geologist, particularly working on hard soil. This tool is custom made with 24" long hardwood handle to save bending your body and knees on working, and efficiently to reach narrow and crawl space. A cushion rubber grip is on the handle. It is a great tool and inexpensive for home owner and professional gardener and landscaping workers and prospectors. But please note, this is Not a woodworking Adze although it has strength capacity to cut green wood.
