Their effectiveness is due largely to the use of their Meryl Skinlife anti-itch and anti-odor protection they receive. Meryl Skinlife has a permanent advanced mix of polyamide yarns that possess antimicrobial properties to reduce noisome odors in your socks. Fox calls these 6" socks their "DH" sock since its cut will fit perfectly with the needs of the serious downhiller. With mesh zones throughout, you can count on having your feet well ventilated no matter how much heat you are generating. Fox has made certain, though, that the socks will fit snugly, hugging your feet with an anatomic arch support section, so that you won't feel like you are wearing your high school gym socks instead of a well-designed second skin for your foot.
