Frey Scientific Iron Electrode Strip, 5" Length x 3/4" Width x 3/64" Thick
The Frey Scientific Magnesium Electrode Strip is a flat, rigid strip for use in electrochemical cells and other chemical or electrical experiments. It measures 5 x 3/4 x 3/64 inches (L x W x T; where L is length, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; T is thickness, the distance from top to bottom). The element symbol (MG) is stamped near the edge of the strip. Electrode strips are used in educational settings to demonstrate voltaic cells, electrolysis, heat conductivity, and other electrochemical principles.
Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.
