- The full cheek snaffle has narrow arms which project above and below the rings, preventing the mouthpiece from sliding in the horses mouth and to emphasize the tuning aid
- The waterford mouthpiece is comprised of a series of ball shaped links, creating a movable mouthpiece, to prevent leaning, taking hold of the bit and jaw setting
This stainless steel bit has 6 1/2 inch cheek to protect the horse from having the bit pulled through his mouth as well as providing more control. The waterford mouth applies tongue pressure to help set a horses head. When pulled laterally the bars contact the inside corners of the horse's bars touching " new nerves" for excellent lateral control. It provides alot of flex.
