- If you have ever milled a narrow piece of stock on your table saw or router tabletop then you know how dicey it can get. Trying to control your stock while your fingers are dangerously close to the blade or cutter is something to avoid altogether. The Power Grip V-Style Push Stick is the perfect solution to help keep your fingers out of harms way and control your workpiece at the same time. The push stick has a foam rubber base to offer even more control than standard V or L style push sticks.
- The non-slip foam rubber pad is approximately 3/16” thick and will grip to most any type of material like smooth sanded wood, rough wood or composite materials. The pad measures approximately 6-1/4” in length which provides you with enough gripping surface area to control the stock though your table saw and router table. The width of the foam is slightly skinnier than the push stick itself so that it will slide smoothly against your fence without hanging up on the foam rubber.
- The push stick has a 90 degree notch on the inside end of the foam pad with a relief circle cutout to accept the 90 degree corner of your stock. The base is offset under the handle creating a notch which helps makes sure that your stock won’t slip out the back when running your stock through the table saw blade or router bit. The overall length of the push stick is approximately 8-9/16”.
- The body width on the Power Grip V Style Push Stick is extra wide to help provide you with even more control than a standard push stick. These push sticks start at 9/16” wide and are tapered up to 3/4” at the base. While most standard v style push sticks are much thinner. The extra width not only helps provide more control, it also provides you with a more stable gripping surface.
- The comfort grip handle on the Power Grip V-Style Push Sticks are wider and thicker than the actual push stick itself. The reason we made the handle larger is to make sure we gain even more control and leverage. We made the push stick a bright orange so you have the ability to see the push stick when in use. This ensures that you can see exactly where you are placing the push stick in relation to the blade, the cutter and your stock at all times.
