The first-ever collection of remixes from leading UK jazz groove band DOWN TO THE BONE, whose career took off in the US with the release of From Manhattan To Staten, which went to No 2 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart and included the Grammy-nominated Brooklyn Heights. In 1999 the band were the No 1 selling independent Jazz act in the US. They later released albums on Verve and Narada/Blue Note. Three of their seven Top 10 Jazz airplay chart entries have gone to No. 1. Their key chart tracks have included Brooklyn Heights, The Zodiac, Long Way From Brooklyn, The Sweetness and Parkside Shuffle. This album of dancefloor and Latin-oriented remixes and reworks opens with DJ Spinna s take on Electric Vibes, with guest Roy Ayers, while the Agent K (alias Kaidi Tatham) mix of The Flow features Brazilian jazz vocalist Flora Purim.
