As a PGA coach and inventor Stuart knows ultimate goal to play great golf is to develop effortless speed. Golfers typically force the club through either with an aggressive body (low handicap golfers) or aggressive arms (mid-high handicap golfers) which causes the club head to decelerate and the face to misalign, resulting in compensations. You can't force it from the top, this would overload the GForce shaft making it difficult to make contact. For golfers the make and break move is the transition. Look at a professional golfer, they start the downswing from the ground up, the club is the last thing to move so there is very little force applied to the handle of the club in transition preventing the shaft from overloading. For amateur golfers it is the opposite, they start from the top down applying all their force to the handle in transition overloading the shaft so the sequencing is out from the off!!
