GOD'S GUN: Thirty-Fourth in a Series of Jess Williams Westerns (A Jess Williams Western Book 34)
Jess comes across a preacher and two nuns in a broken down wagon along the trail. He escorts them to the next town to get them a new wheel for their wagon. Once the wagon is fixed, Jess is ready to part ways and continues on his hunt for more wanted men, but the preacher and two nuns finally convince him to escort them to the next town.
He reluctantly escorts Preacher Weaver, Sister Jane and Sister Maude to the next town where a strange murder occurs. Jess continues to escort them to one town after another on the way to Juarez, Mexico, but strange murders continue to happen whenever they are in town. Jess begins to become suspicious and after a bond forms between him and Sister Jane, he agrees to continue to accompany them to Juarez, Mexico, where Preacher Weaver claims he and the two nuns will preach to the heathens there.
By the time they arrive in El Paso, Texas, the last town before crossing into Juarez, Mexico, Jess finally gets the confirmation about his suspicions with the help of United States Marshal Frank Reedy, who wires him some information that puts all the pieces of his suspicions together. The crossing into Juarez will be an interesting one and one that will leave more than a few people surprised.
