- IDEAL SETTING: Designed for schoolyards, municipal parks, and recreation facilities, the Douglas Gooseneck 4.5 Rectangular Clear Acrylic Basketball System perfectly completes outdoor basketball courts. This package features a 4-1/2″ O.D. gooseneck post with 48″ safe play area, 42″ x 60″ acrylic backboard, and single breakaway rim.
- 4.5” OD GOOSENECK POST: Formed from heavy wall galvanized steel for superior protection against weather elements. Each post is approximately 13′ tall, with 3′ to be installed in a 4′ x 2′ concrete footing to ensure long-lasting post stability. All posts contain a backboard mounting plate welded to post end for hassle-free attachment to most backboards. Optional custom outdoor weather resistant pole pads are available. Standard in-ground installation (direct bury). 25-Year Limited Warranty.
- RECTANGULAR CLEAR ACRYLIC: 42″ x 60″ Rectangular clear acrylic backboard. 3/8″ thick shatter proof clear acrylic is fade resistant and will never fog or cloud. Acrylic is also highly resistant to scuffs and abrasions. The backboard is encased in an all-aluminum frame, completely supported by a welded steel back frame. Has a standard 5″ x 5″ hole pattern. 10 Year limited warranty.
- FLEX BREAKAWAY RIM: With an accordion-like breakaway action, this rim is a great alternative for a facility needing an institutional-quality breakaway rim without a positive lock mechanism. Superiorly constructed. The rim’s no-tie attachment and universal backplate make it the most compatible option for any situation when choosing non-competition backboard and rim combos. Goal measures 8.50“ x 20.25“ x 26.00”. 2 year warranty.
