The Genie SLC-24 Superlift Contractor is a heavy duty material lift for construction and industrial applications with a 18' 6" (5.64 m) maximum lifting height and a 650 lbs (295 kg) capacity.
The SLC-24 has a standard base with steel forks for lifting loads up and down, non-marking 4" (10 cm) front casters, 5" (13 cm) rear casters with side breaks, and a rear transport wheel assembly. The Superlift has a hold-down bar to secure the aluminum mast during transport, glide rails for easy loading, and can fit through standard doorways.
Power is provided from a one-speed manual winch, which requires 8.5 cranks per foot (27.8 cranks per meter).
Material lifts are used for lifting a variety of loads such as installation of electrical fixtures, ducts, drywall, ceiling panels, and overhead sprinklers, among many others. For industrial use only.
Genie Industries, a subsidiary of Terex Corporation, was founded in 1966 with the introduction of the Genie Hoist, a portable pneumatic material lift. Genie is headquartered in Redmond, WA, and manufactures a variety of lifts, booms, light towers, and telehandlers.
