It uses cool air from the factory production intake area behind the front grill, rather than hot air from the engine compartment. Featuring a low-restriction, reusable air filter in a special TRD designed enclosure, it's dyno-tested to deliver an increase in both horsepower and torque for better acceleration and greater pulling power. The TRD Performance Air Intake is 50-state emissions legal.
