The first overtime and highest-scoring Rose Bowl in history will be remembered as one of the greatest Granddaddies of Them All as the Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Oklahoma Sooners with a dramatic comeback victory in the second overtime. With this win, the Bulldogs earned a spot in the College Football Playoff National Championship game on January 8th at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. A revenge win against Auburn in the final game of the season secured Georgia its 13th SEC crown and the third seed in the College Football Playoff to put them in contention for their first national champion title since 1980.
