New Made Item: This is small olive canvas and leather bag originally attached to the lower frame of the combat pack (Beutel zum Gefechtsgepack) also called an 'A' Frame by some collectors. The bag is closed by a flap secured by two tie tapes through small grommets at it corners. Inside the flap is a small pocket for the carbine cleaning kit. A narrow leather strap is attached inside the flap and further secured the bag's contents by fastening to a button on the outside. The bag is attached to the pack frame by two small web tabs fitted with a button hole, these passing through the rectangular rings on the pack frame's lower edges. This bag was issued originally to serve to redistribute some items from the bread bag, e.g.: undershirt, carbine cleaning kit, eating utensils, fat container, Esbit stove, one emergency iron ration meat tin, and tent quarter rope. Our high quality reproduction comes complete with replicated German WWII markings. This is a very hard to find accessory for the German WWII reenactor or collector. Battle pack only, suspenders & A-Frame available separately from IMA.
