Handmade organic soap bar- Goat Milk soap with Lemongrass essential oil and Sage Oil.
Clean, crisp scent of lemongrass and the earthiness of sage meet in this luxurious goat milk soap.
We use organic and high quality natural essential oils, herbs and botanical sourced from all over the world to create homemade soaps the old-fashioned way, through the cold-process method of soap-making.
Unlike mass-produced commercial soaps, it takes time to create a Falls River Soap. We work in small batches at a low temperature and age the soaps for up to four to six weeks to preserve the natural glycerin, producing the most luxurious, pure and gentle moisturizing soap imaginable.
With proper storage and in-use care, you'll get the most of your handmade natural soap!:
1. Use a soap dish that offers drainage (e.g. slotted) so the soap can dry between uses
2. Store soaps in cool, dry location that allows air circulation. Handmade natural soaps are high in natural glycerin and vegetable oils; non-ventilated storage may result in a "weepy" or rancid soap bar
3. Keep your stored soaps out of direct sunlight, as natural ingredient colors may fade
4. If storing several soaps, it's best to store similar scents together
How to avoid typical problems in Handmade soaps:
> Soap is not lathering well - Most likely you have hard water. The soap will not lather well if you have hard water
> Soap becomes soggy and disintegrates quickly - Keep the soap dry between uses. Handmade soaps are high in natural glycerin and vegetable oil which tend to make the soap soggy and disintegrate if kept in water or in humid condition. Use a soap dish that offers drainage (e.g. slotted) so the soap can dry between uses
