Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the first ever disco jazz group. Good High originally released in 1976 on Bang Records featured the Anthem 'Dazz'; the 12" version is also included as a bonus track on this Robinsongs package. 'Dazz' reached #1 on the Billboard R&B chart, where it stayed for four weeks, also making Top 3 on the U. S. Pop chart. The album also went to #1 on the R&B album chart and top 20 on the pop chart, and the band was off to a flyer. With the release of their second album Brick, the leadoff single was 'Dusic' which was in the same mould as 'Dazz' and with the same success "Dusic" went to #2 on the R&B chart and top 20 on the U. S. Pop chart. The album also reached the summit on the R&B album chart in September of 1977. Unlike Good High, the Brick album also gave the band a second Top Ten R&B hit with 'Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody', and the single version of this track is included as a bonus track on this package. Brick went on to record five further albums but never managed to replicate the success of these two classic seventies disco, jazz, funk themed albums.
