Double check that this filter matches what was in your machine, there are two different types of filters that could be in the older E2 Gold two speed vacuums.

Rainbow advertises these filters as washable, we do not recommend washing these or the genuine filters, it is very difficult if not impossible to wash out all the small debris and if not properly dried it will begin to mold and rot.
