HEATIT Mobile Home 100' Heat Cable HTM Braid Self Regulating heating Tape Water Line Freeze Protection Heat Trace for Water Pipes
[Versatile Application] The self-regulating pipe heating cable system is designed for mobile homes and other dry applications. It provides freeze protection for residential metal or plastic water supply and drain pipes.
[Self-Regulating Technology] The cable automatically adjusts its heat output based on ambient temperature at each point along the cable, reducing overheating risks. It can be installed in straight, spiral, or overlap configurations for added flexibility.
[Durable Construction] The heating cable is ETL approved with a tinned copper braid that serves as both the outer jacket and electrical ground, ensuring reliable performance and enhanced safety. This product is backed by up to USD 2 million in product liability insurance, providing you with added peace of mind and security in your purchase.
[Installation Tools] Necessary tools include HEATIT glass cloth tape, fiberglass insulation, wire cutters, screwdrivers, and a measuring tape. The HEATIT HTM connection kit is essential for proper installation and must be purchased separately.
[Quick test] Once insulation is finished, plug the cable into a 120V AC outlet. Don’t use any of the water for about 1 hour. After that turn on the tap on HEATIT HTM protected pipe and test the water temperature. You should feel the slight warm from the water.
HEATIT HTM self regulating pipe heating cables provide you the cut-to-length technology to protect your pipe from freezing especially for numerous pipes of varied lengths in dry location. Self regulating technology reduces the energy consumption when pipes don't need the freeze protection and increases the heat energy supply when pipes need the freeze protection. They are ideal to be used on residential metal or plastic water supply and drain pipes: water supply lines underneath mobile/manufactured homes, cottages, barns and other dry locations etc.
