Those magnificient paintings from 190 years ago were revived in order to enjoy for us of today with our fun gadgets, Kindle.
"Thirty-six vets of Mt.Fuji" which is one of the greatest master piece of Hokusai Katsushika, had been published in 1823-1835, is a very valuable Ukiyo-e paiting in the history.
It was represented workers in those days and the views of Mt.fuji from all the places in Japan.
Although these were published with 36 paintings as the title in the first place, 10 additional paitings were included because of their excellent value.
His unique use of color boldness and the paiting form had a huge influence on artists not only in Japan but also on all over the world especially on Vincent van Gogh and Claude Debussy.
Those paitings were definitely innovative works.

However, some of those have scratches and aged stain.

So those old marks were removed with the latest digital technology and all the 46 paitings had been renovated almost close to the original work in this HOKUSAI Museum.
