Named after the German physician Arthur Hartmann, Hartmann alligator forceps were designed for use in surgery. Unlike traditional forceps or tweezers, only the jaws are designed to open, allowing the user to grasp small objects and place them in tight spaces. Although created with medical use in mind, alligator forceps are perfect for soldering small components, building models, and even fine detail work on crafts. The jaws are serrated for exceptional grip.
