The captioning service is provided at no-cost to people with hearing loss and is available ONLY in the U.S. 24/7/365.
- Users can choose their preferred captioning method – Auto Captions (Captions are entirely computer-generated – there is no operator on the call) vs. Assisted Captions (An operator facilitates captioning, making corrections and providing call details).
- With the size and feel of a traditional phone, the Hamilton CapTel 840i includes conventional buttons for on-screen menu navigation, easy-to-read display screen and built-in answering machine that captions messages.
