A quick note from the author:
If you are reading this you are probably where I once was. You want to find work abroad, whether it be a working holiday, volunteering abroad, or anything else. You probably don’t have a great deal of money to spend and you don’t want to pay for anything you don’t have to.
In 2009 I was stuck. I graduated into a recession, moved back in with my parents, and was working for minimum wage. All my spare time I spent trying to work out how to travel and work abroad.
When I eventually found a way to I wanted to share it with others. I knew there must also be many other ways to work and travel as well, so I set about finding others like me who had found great opportunities and taken advantage of them. I talked to people from all walks of life, from those who gave up promising careers for time on the road to those who were just finishing school and looking for a summer of adventure.
These are the experiences you are buying in this book, not just mine. I put this book together so you can read about those who have found the best opportunities to work overseas.
