The book includes ten scripture-inspired, illustrated "prayer stories" for children. A "preparation guide" for parents, teachers and other adult caregivers suggests ways in which these stories can be used to minister to children, including those who do not have a male caregiving figure in their lives. A "story guide" suggests ways to lead into and out of the individual stories, so that they become prayer experiences. Three songs celebrate the life-giving nature of God.
