Hand wash and dry recommended:
1.Before their first use, wash the knives carefully in warm soapy water, rinse and dry.
2.Hecef hammered pattern knives are made of pakka wood(handle) and 5Mov15 stainless steel(blade).The blade contains higher carbon than normal knife blade which makes this knife super sharp and hard.However, due to the high carbon and hammered pattern,the blade is easier rusting than normal knife. For keeping the life of the knife longer, we strongly recommend hand washing and drying with cotton cloth after washing.
3. Sharpening your knife regularly will ensure sharpness of the blade.Using knives with wood or plastic cutting board is recommended to prevent dulling knife edge.
4. Kitchen knife is not to be used as a screwdriver or tin opener.Please don't take non-serrated knife to cut frozen food for avoiding the knife damaged or broken.
5. Store the knife in a right way to protect the blade can prolong the service life of the knife.If the knife is idle for a long time, apply the food oil to the knife surface to prevent rusty spot.
