Acid House is twenty years old in 2008! The summers of 1988 and 1989, collectively a period known as The Second Summer Of Love, produced a club scene that spawned dance music culture as it is today. In nine previous editions of true club classics, Hed Kandi has charted the very finest music of the classic dance era; when clubbers could hear superb Chicago house music mixed together with hip hop, rare groove and the odd soul anthem. With most Back To Love albums now unavailable yet still in hot demand (check eBay!), this edition collates the most vital and favourite of all the tracks across as a 3CD album package. While the term 'legendary' is often thrown around when describing classic compilations, there is no other word to describe the who's who of house music included on this first-ever full Back To Love mix album. Farley JackMaster Funk, Frankie Knuckles and Marshall Jefferson to name a very small selection of the heavyweight producers featured, three names who have had played a huge part in the creation of the music we have came to know and love as 'house'. Add a sprinkling of dance diva royalty such as Alison Limerick, Cheryl Lynn and Barbara Tucker, club hits to the tune of Nightcrawlers' 'Push The Feeling On', Patti Day 'Right Before My Eyes' and the anthemic Passion from Gat Decor to the mix and we start to have the makings of a true piece of old school gold!
