The Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) is a protective clothing system developed in the 1980s by the United States Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center. This quality and durable ECWCS Generation II jacket is the perfect choice for all weather conditions. It features special 3-layer fabric system that is waterproof, insulates and gives an ideal protection against wind, providing moisture infiltration, evaporation and promotes ventilation at the same time. Presented parka features cobra style hood with drawstring that goes with adjustable nylon pulls. The hood itself can be concealed in the collar and secured there through the system of several Velcro patches. There is a sturdy two-way, full-front slide fastener that, when fully fastened, can provide full-face protection, leaving only the eyes uncovered. The zipper is covered with double storm flap with snap fasteners. The jacket has Raglan sleeves with flap-covered pockets on each sleeve with a hook and loop closure, armpit ventilation zippers and snaps, and double reinforced elbows as well as adjustable Velcro wrist cuffs. Moreover there are two cargo pockets on the lower front of a jacket that features large flaps with double hook and loop closure. There are also two hidden map pockets at the upper front with Velcro closures which can be opened without unzipping the parka, and a snow skirt to prevent snow and wind from entering underneath the jacket. Perfect choice for police, military and EMT as well as for fishing, hunting and a lot of other outdoor activities.
