Henry James: The Complete Novels
Henry James was an American writer. He is regarded as one of the key figures of 19th-century literary realism.
James is best known for a number of novels showing Americans encountering Europe and Europeans. James himself alternated between living in America and Europe for the first twenty years of his life. In the latter part of his life he eventually settled in England.
James pioneered the use of imaginative point of views, interior monologues and unreliable narrators. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1911, 1912, and 1916.
