High purity graphite has the advantages of small resistance coefficient, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, good thermal shock resistance, conductivity, low thermal expansion coefficient, self-lubrication and easy precision machining.
The melting point and boiling point of graphite are 3850±50℃ and 4250℃ respectively. Even if it is ignited by ultra-high temperature arc, the weight loss is very small and the coefficient of thermal expansion is very small. The strength of graphite increases with the increase of temperature, and doubles at 2000℃.
Conductivity and thermal conductivity: The conductivity of graphite is 100 times higher than that of non-metallic ore. The thermal conductivity is higher than that of steel, iron, lead and other metal materials.
