Construction is solid metal and the finish is polished chrome. The new transparent ABS splash guard creates perfect spray diameter and is available in colors to match any decor. THIS PARTICULAR MODEL IS EQUIPPED WITH A TRICKLE VALVE WHICH ALLOWS THE USER TO EITHER CONTROL THE STRENGTH OF THE SPRAY OR TO SHUT IF OFF TO A TRICKLE WHILE LATHERING FOR EVEN GREATER WATER SAVINGS. All shower head sprays lose strength as the water moves through the air, and this could be an issue for some people when the shower heads are at this height. To help compensate for this loss of energy we are introducing a new 1.8 gpm option. Although still considered to be a water conservation shower head (uses 25% less water than a standard 2.5 gpm shower head) the higher flow rate does produce larger droplets than the 1.5 gpm version and a stronger feeling spray ideal for the newer shower designs.
