On the west end of one of the East Coast's popular Southern beaches, two families have been fighting to keep their beach houses out of the hands of greedy developers. They're already surrounded on one side by the exclusive development of Pelican Pointe and on the other side by West End, a retirement village populated by what the islanders call Snowbirds, flocks of folks migrating South for the colder months of the year. When Rock and Liz arrive at their destination beach house, after a few idyllic days strange things begin to happen in the neighborhood. A shady real estate agent has been trying to buy up all the surrounding property, but when he is found with his hands and feet bound by ropes, the story he tells leads the residents to believe far more sinister things are happening on their end of the island. Bonfires and chants seen and heard throughout the nights point to a dangerous occult presence right under their noses and it appears that Rock's pregnant wife, Liz may be their next target.
This is the third and final book in The Southern Grace Trilogy, but can easily be read as a stand alone book.
