- Keeps contents cool through evaporative cooling: Capillary action evaporates slowly through the pores, keeping the liquid inside cooler than the outside temperature.
- Can also be used as a wine decanter. Terracotta is a porous material and will naturally perspire, aerating the contents. We recommend that you let your wine sit for at least 30 minutes to ensure complete aeration.
