Meet Lucky Jennings. Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina by a single mother, she's determined not to become a product of her environment. After watching her mom work tirelessly to support her, Lucky throws herself into her school work, graduating at the top of her class. Once Leek runs into Lucky, he's intrigued by the shy beauty. After a few chance meetings, the two form a friendship, but everybody isn't happy about it. Life threatens to rip the bond the two share completely apart. Can their relationship stand the test of time? Or will it all be too much to handle for Lucky?
