Note:
The direct sunlight may cause false alarm occasionally.Otherwise, the transition from a cool night to sun and things warming up quickly are also causing false alarms.

To avoid false alarms:
Don't mount the PIR sensor on direct sunlight spot(as moving heat sources would trigger the PIR)
Don't mount the sensor detector in a location blowing wind frequently.
When installing outside, it's best to mount it at shaded location by your driveway, protected place with minimal changing temperatures.
Avoiding mounting on UPVC or metal door frame surfaces which may reduce the transmission range.
