The Honeywell 1900 Xenon handheld barcode reader is black, contains an area imager, comes with a USB cable, and can be used to scan and decode linear one-dimensional (1D), two-dimensional (2D), and Portable Document Format 417 (PDF417) barcodes. The area imager enables the barcode reader to scan 1D and 2D barcodes on labels or cell phone screens, capture images, and scan documents. The barcode reader offers standard-range, extended-range, and high-density focal settings to suit the application. The barcode reader's USB cable can be plugged into the USB port of a computer or another host system (sold separately) to transmit barcode data. Image software can be used to edit digital images.
